Community Fun Day at The Granville

Community Fun Day
 
Saturday 15th September,  1-5pm
 
A lovely way to round off the summer. People enjoyed the fun run of the community spaces at the Granville and the garden. 
 
The event included workshops, children’s activities run by Barnados, live entertainment, DJs, consultations on future development including the Granville’s garden projects and award winning social enterprise Punch & Juicy. 
 
The day was rounded off with a children’s dance competition.

Grand Opening Week

The Granville welcomed 800 people through it’s door in the opening week to enjoy a series of celebratory events.

A Thread Runs Through it – Photography exhibition by The Granville tenant Kit Oates capturing people from the community who have had a long term relationship with The Granville.  Marked with community tea to open the exhibition.

Ribbon Cutting event – formal event with stakeholders and speeches from South Kilburn Trust CEO Mark Allan, Brent Council Chief Exec Carolyn Downs and the Chair of South Kilburn Trust Ros Dunn with food and drinks provided Saucy Soca.
 
May 19th
Community Fun Day – A fun-packed celebration for all ages of the local community which showcased the space and featured DJs, live music, children’s entertainment and activities, performances from Adanta as well as capoeira, African drumming, voice and wellness workshops, Saucy Soca’s BBQ, stilt walkers and more.
