In memory and gratitude to Captain Sir Tom Moore.
A genuine inspiration and a humble gentleman. Captain Tom Moore was not content with platitudes or clapping – never mind that he was approaching 100 years old, he wanted to do something practical to make a difference, and ended up raising £33 million for NHS charities. Putting aside for one moment the shameful underfunding of services that made this necessary, we should all salute and thank him.
A statue or other sort of memorial should be erected in his honour, and we should all honour his memory by following his example and taking whatever action we can to help and support others.
